Dundee University’s industry day, Write Stuff, was a sell-out, the lecture theatre jam-packed. I was delighted to be back on Dundee’s friendly campus, and to share my experience of the road to publication with students on Dundee’s Writing Study and Practice programme and with members of the public.
Readings from my debut crime novel, Cross Purpose, were well received – the audience warmed in particular to Big Wilma, who now has a loyal following – and I joined with fellow authors Sandra Ireland and Ollie Langmead in a lively Q&A session.
